On Saturday, Paramedics assisted Queensland Police Service , Queensland Fire Department, State Emergency Services and Retrieval Services Queensland, to rescue a patient who had fallen down an embankment in Springbrook National Park. Paramedics treated the man while he was extricated to a more accessible location, where he was then airlifted to hospital via rescue helicopter.
