Our very first guests are coming all the way from America 🇺🇸 which makes it even more special (and as an American myself, I’m extra excited!) Cue a mad rush to make six single beds, one super king, and a double pullout sofa for a group of ten. Slightly lost the plot—as you’ll see in the reel—but we’re beyond thrilled to finally open the doors!

🛠️ Finding Space for Conservation 🏰 In order to properly store the largest tapestry at Mapperton until we can begin restoration, I had to get creative! ✂️ First, I rolled up the carpet in the hall to make space. Then came the task of sawing an old carpet tube (yes, the kind that carpets are rolled on! 🏡) to the exact size.
