Allotments are hard work. But they are also incredibly rewarding places. If you keep going, keep putting in the work, it will pay off. Remember, allotments aren’t created in a day. They take a lot of commitment. I go to mine about 4 times a week for an hour a time over the spring and summer months, less over the winter. When I first got my plot it was an overgrown mess and needed so much work, but by working slowly and methodically, I worked my way through it and brought it back to life again. S
