Michael Jackson’s debut album, “Got To Be There’ is 50 years old!!! It was released in January of 1972. His debut single of the same name was released in October 1971. Black Ivory debut album, “Don’t Turn Around” was released in March of 1972 and included a cover of “Got To Be There”. Smokey Robinson & The Miracles released their last studio album together entitled “Flying High Together” in July of 1972, which included a cover of “Got To Be There” as well.
